We're getting married!

Zach & Katie were introduced to each other through a mutual friend, whom they both adore. They found a lot of common ground through music, and got along famously from the beginning. They finally decided to go on a date, their first, and bake cookies, which Zach promptly burned, but to his surprise Katie still wanted to go on a second date. Their love only grew deeper the more they spent time together, and it grows deeper still 6 years later.

Zach thought it would be clever to hide the ring on the tippy top of their first Christmas tree. In an attempt to get Katie to find the ring, he decided to trick her into thinking the star was broken. When Katie went to take the star down she missed it the first time. After a little prompting to check again, she finally saw the ring and was a sappy mess. Obviously she said yes because you're all going to their wedding, but it was the most beautiful moment in their lives that they will cherish forever.
