Things To Do

If our US family and friends are making a weekend of this, there are so many things to do around the St. Louis area for both kids and adults! Feel free to reach out for any other recommendations!

Aerie's Resort in Grafton Illinois

14 West Main Street, Grafton, IL 62037

At Aeries Resort in Grafton, IL you can do their Alpine Coaster, and their Skytour, which is a gondola ride up the bluffs. It's a gorgeous view, especially at this time of year. There is also lodging, winery, and restaurant terrace here if you prefer to stay at the resort!

St. Louis Union Station Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton

1820 Market Street, St. Louis, MO 63103

Union Station is a great hub with a lot to do for a weekend. It's also in downtown STL, so you can drive out to see other neighborhoods nearby. At Union Station you'll find the STL Aquarium, the St. Louis Wheel, a mirror maze, ropes course, mini golf, carousel, and a few carnival rides, and Build-A-Bear. There's also lodging here, as well as the following restaurants: The Train Shed, The Pitch Athletic Club and Tavern, The Soda Fountain, Landry's Seafood House, Station Grille, and The Grand Hall.

Saint Louis Science Center

5050 Oakland Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63110

Can't beat free entry! There are also so many other (paid, sorry) exhibits the Science Center provides. They have the OMNIMAX Theatre, Planetarium, Discovery rooms, and rotating exhibits.

Saint Louis Zoo

1 Government Drive, St. Louis, MO 63110

Our zoo is free and it's so good!! You can also add a sea lion show, zooline railroad, giraffe feedings, and more.

City Foundry STL

3730 Foundry Way, St. Louis, MO 63110

There are so many restaurants and entertainment options at the Foundry! Take a look at their website to see what they have to offer.

Eckert's Farm

951 South Green Mount Road, Belleville, IL 62220

Eckert's farm provides so many family friendly activities, especially in the fall! Each Eckert's location has different events though! So, take a look at the options on their website before you go. Enjoy a hay ride, picking pumpkins out of the patch, a petting zoo, the Cider Shed, and so much more.
