Short answer, no. We have decided to have an adult only reception. Our kids will be there and wedding party kiddos other than that we encourage our guests to lock in a babysitter and enjoy a kid free evening!
There will be an open beer and sangria bar, cash bar for cocktails and seltzers.
Our wedding will be in Beaver Dam State Park- Pavilion 4 (savory hollow) there will be signs directing you to get to the correct spot!
Semi formal dress code. Think dresses/jumpsuits for the ladies. And for the dudes, think suit, or dress pants and button down. No specific code and we ultimately want our guests to be comfortable and wear what they want just know if you dress like a bum people will stare. For those concerned about matching bridal party bridesmaid dresses are pink and pink florals.
There will be parking at the ceremony in front of pavilion 4, we ask that you reserve the front row for the party bus and our older guests that have a hard time walking long distances. There is additional parking east of pavilion 4 as well as west. Reception parking there is a gravel lot across the street (north) behind the car wash. Or there is parking in the lot directly behind Reno’s.
Yes ceremony will be outdoors. It will be short and sweet but it will be in August at 4pm so yes you may get hot, ceremony will be in a nice shaded spot nuzzled under some trees and we will have some paper fans as well to help keep you breezy! Reception to follow will be indoors!
Ceremony starts at 4 PM, we ask that you please arrive early as opposed to late, please give yourself time to be seated so that you are not coming in once the ceremony starts.
If you were given a plus one it was addressed on your envelope, and you would’ve had the opportunity to RSVP for said guest. If it was not previously discussed and you did not rsvp for a guest please do not bring anyone extra, this is due to seating charts, and seating/food drink limitations. Thank you for understanding!
Yes, we will have a pizza bar, as well as pasta and salad. Non alcoholic drinks will be Pepsi products, Tea and water. Dessert there will be Cupcakes.
