“Join me and Warren in the union of our two family’s”

I first saw warren in class. I thought he was cute. But never talked to him. And over 3 years I spoke to him a few times asking random things just to get his attention. Then one day we’re all walking to class and I’m listening to music ignoring life I look to the left and going the other way was… Warren. We made eye contact and didn’t break till we passed eachother. In those few seconds only thing I can say to explain it, is time slowed and no words where spoken just staring at each other. When we passed I just kept thinking about it and him more and more. Till my 11th grade senior classes. He was in there. I sat right next to him. All I wanted to do was talk to him. A few little conversations pass and days go by a month before homecoming. I finally get the courage to turn in my seat and ask “ would you like to go to homecoming dance with me?” My mind immediately thinking it was dumb and he would never say yes. Just as I about to apologize he says “sure”. I was super, like really excited. That afternoon I passed him stopped him and asked for his number. He was ofc caught off guard. But he gave it to me. And we’ve been with each-other ever since. We’ve had some arguments, rally good memories like singing in the parking lot. Crying when we said goodbye even if it was just for the night. That’s how we started 9/28/21. And I can’t wait to marry him and have many more years to come.
