We met at on campus bible study called "village" in 2019. I (Katie) was instantly drawn to Wade! Wade.... not so much!

A few months after knowing each other, we both were contestants in the "Dating Game" at church one Wednesday night. Lew and behold, I won a date with my biggest crush ever : Wade Mills!!!!!! Our first date was at Rotolo's in Ruston & Wade informed me he wasn't ready to date anyone at the time. After some time of us hanging out at church and with friends, he realized he liked me and not long after - he asked me to be his girlfriend on October 10, 2020!

This night was supposed to be a fun valentines date night, but ended up being the best night ever! While heading home after dinner he pulled into the church parking lot on the way home. Wade led me up to the three crosses and started talking about how God never intended for man to be alone. He said some amazing things. He walked me up to the crosses and told me to close my eyes, and when I opened, he was on one knee!
