We’re getting married!!!

Katie and Tyler started dating in 2020 when Katie was a junior and Tyler was a senior. They went to rival high schools both located in Plant City and the rivalry between the two remains today. Their journey began right before the pandemic that shut the world down but for Katie and Tyler, it made them stronger. Soon after their relationship began, Tyler moved away to college at the University of West Florida while Katie still had a year of high school left to complete. Long distance was one of the most challenging obstacles in their relationship but it was just another one of those things that made them stronger. The summer after Katie's graduation and a year of long distance, Tyler proposed to Katie. Since then, Katie and Tyler have moved to Pensacola together where they are both completing their bachelor's degrees. They are both so excited to celebrate their relationship and marriage with their closest friends and family and cannot wait to finally be Mr. & Mrs. Dowdy!
