When Katie saw a picture of Tyler and his cat on Bumble, she knew that he was purrfect for her. We matched in summer of 2019 and enjoyed going on dates to breweries, diners, antique stores, and parks. In March of 2020, we made the bold decision to quarantine together in Tyler's tiny basement apartment in DC. During quarantine, we saw each other at our best and worst. We went for long walks and baked many batches of cookies together. During this time, we got to know each other on a deep level and started planning our future together. While the uncertainty of quarantine was scary, we are so thankful for how close we became in such a short time. 2 years after meeting, we impulsively bought our first house in Downtown Frederick (best decision EVER). Tyler proposed in December of 2022 on the Spanish Steps in DC (throwback to quarantine walks). After much deliberation, Katie said "yes." Since moving to Frederick, we have met amazing friends and neighbors. We love our life here and are so excited to show you our peaceful little town during our wedding weekend.
