It all started thanks to a little matchmaking magic from our rabbit rescue’s vet and one of Turner’s coworkers (who just so happen to be married). Our first date was a double date at the zoo, which turned out to be such a hit that we ended up getting engaged there two years later. Full circle moment - with more penguins watching this time. We became best friends almost instantly and, on one of our early dates, Katie decided to test Turner’s sense of humor and commitment all at once by showing up with matching Christmas sweaters. Then off to the Bass Pro Shop for Christmas pictures we went. Not only did Turner wear his sweater without complaint - he proudly kept it on all night, even at Top Golf. That was the moment Katie knew he was a keeper. After all, any man who’ll rock a matching holiday sweater in public is clearly husband material. (See photographic proof below.)
