We met in March of 2019! I was a bartender at Schuggys Taphouse in Hammond WI. I picked up a shift and did not want to work that night. My Matron of Honor Kenzi, basically dragged me out of my car to clock in. I walked in and saw this boy dressed in all white just smiling away. The first thing I said was "Who is that I need to know". I clocked in & he asked for his winning $201 pulled tab to be cashed out. I cashed it out, gave him his money and he tipped me $20. Anyone who knows me knows i am a hugger. I walked around the bar gave him a hug and said thank you! I then started shake a day around the bar. When it was his turn to shake the dice, he shook a little too hard and it went flying. I picked it up, brought it back over he had his phone out and said "OOPS i really didn't mean for that to happen, but you can put your number in my phone while I shake". He then stayed the rest of the 5 hours I had left & then we talked in the parking lot in my car till past midnight. The next day went on a date! Obviously, it went pretty well! Not too long later we started dating!
2/4/23 We planned a day to go bowling with friends in Riverfalls! It was us, his Best-Man Chaz, Groomsmen Trevor, & my Bridesmaid Jadyn. The day started off normal. We get there order some drinks & have lunch. I knew of nothing; I was just wondering why Triston was so jumpy & Trevor was actually being nice! I just thought it's been a while since we all went out and did something together. We started bowling and when Jadyn & I went to get drinks I later found out that's when he filled Chaz in on his plans. It was the 8th Frame, and I was up to bowl. I threw my first ball and knocked a few pins down, turned around to get my ball and Triston was behind me on one knee with a box. It startled me & he was shaking but got the words " Will You Marry Me" out. My face was so blank from shock & I had to catch my breath. I laughed and smiled and of course I said YES!!!!!!!! Thats when I found out why everyone was acting weird! He then told me I wanted to ask you to marry me the same way we had our first date, Bowling.
