Hannah is Katie’s younger sister. Even though they are complete opposites, they are best friends and would certainly never fight. Especially over things like who is the better cook or how to do something better. In kindergarten, Katie brought Hannah for show-and-tell because she loves her so much. And she had the cutest little button nose! Their favorite things to do together are drinking white chocolate mochas, watching Marvel movies, and buying things they don’t need from Target. Hannah is wife to James, the officiant, and mom to Billie, the flower girl and Michael, the ring bearer. They live in Middleton, ID with their dog Odin and cat Marshall.

Angeleigh is Katie’s niece from her older brother, James. She is 13, and gets all her sweetness and sass from her favorite aunt 😉. Katie has been on all of Angeleigh’s field trips from 1st-5th grade and used to volunteer in her classes often or have lunch together in the cafeteria. They have a close bond and Angeleigh is the best secret keeper.
Alaina Shaw

Katie met Alaina in the fourth grade. They were both in honor choir and on a bus headed to the old folks home to sing to them. Let’s be honest, not just anyone gets in to fourth grade honor choir. They have been friends ever since and roommates for the past 4 years. Katie had the brilliant idea of moving to Nashville and convinced Alaina to come along for the ride 2 years ago. She lives in Nashville with Katie and their other roommate, Tiffany.
Lacey Russell

Lacey was Katie’s very first Idaho friend when she moved there at the age of 8. They met at church and have continued their friendship for the past 24 years. They have taken many vacations and road trips together, attended concerts and rodeos, along with rafting and floating the river. There is always a lot to explore and adventure together. Lacey is the only person to visit Katie since she moved to Nashville two years ago! She lives in Emmett, ID.

Chanel and Katie met at church in 2005. Chanel had just moved to Idaho and knew no one. Katie quickly earned the title of Chanel’s “first Idaho friend”. The past 13 years have been a rollercoaster of life events and the two have shared many laughs, hugs, and tears. Their loyalty to each other runs deep even though there are many miles between them. Chanel lives outside of Denver, Colorado with her husband Kevin, 2 yr old daughter Bria, and newborn son Atlas.

Bre and Katie met at a BBQ 3 years ago and have been besties since. They have been supportive, honest, and filter free through life events and adventures. Many laughs are shared between them! Bre even bought Katie’s couches when she moved to Nashville so Katie can come back to visit them! Bre was married at the same venue and has been extra helpful throughout the wedding planning process. She lives in Caldwell, ID with her husband Tanner and baby girl Lilliana.

Jordan is Katie’s baby cousin (ok... she’s not a baby... just the youngest). They have the most fun laughing and joking together. Even though they grew up in different states, they still make an effort to stay connected and supportive of each other. They are kindred spirits in their humor and positivity throughout life. She lives in Ukiah, CA.

Julee and Katie have been friends for 7 years. They actually went to school together in 9th grade but don’t remember each other! Julee let Katie live with her and her kiddos for a summer while Katie did summer school so they became very close. They often have ridiculous inside jokes and humor, blended with a total lack of filter. She lives in Twin Falls, ID with her husband Christopher and three children: Alee, Colt, and Tiberius.

Kennedy is Tony’s neice from his older sister, Melissa. She loves doing crafts, making things, playing soccer, singing, and dancing. She always has an awesome smile on her face. She is 7 years old.

Billie is Katie’s niece from her sister Hannah, the matron of honor, and James, the officiant. She is sister to ring bearer Michael. Billie will be almost 3 at wedding time. She loves to bake cookies with her Aunt Kiki (Katie) and FaceTime throughout the week to share her art projects and newest skills. She already loves Tony and is looking forward to him being her new uncle.

Michael is Katie’s favorite nephew. He is brother to flower girl Billie and son to matron of honor Hannah and officiant James. He is the sweetest little baby with the biggest smile and Katie flies across the country as much as she can to cuddle him. The wedding is just after his 1st birthday so we’ll see if he’s walking by then!
James Taylor

James is Katie’s brother-in-law and married to Hannah, the matron of honor. He is Dad to flower girl Billie and ring bearer Michael. Katie has known James since 2006 when he began dating Hannah. He is brilliant and gives the best advice. Katie and Tony are so grateful that he is invested in becoming ordained online to perform the ceremony.
