Wait...did I read the date correctly?

Answer

Yes! We are getting married on the Sunday of Memorial Weekend 2019. We know a little unconventional, but we figured it's a win-win (we get an awesome venue at a better rate and you get extra travel time). We understand some people have big plans each year for that weekend, but we hope you will join us if you can!

Can I bring my young kids?

Answer

Yes, please feel free to bring the kids! However, if you have little humans and would rather get a babysitter so it is easier for you to dance the night away, go for it! We just want everyone who attends to have a great time- so as much as we love all the little ones, we want you to do what works best for you!

What should I wear?

Answer

Clothes preferably, but other than that please wear whatever you will be comfortable in! We are having an outdoor ceremony, so may want to skip the heels and suits.

This is my first gay wedding...anything I should know?

Answer

Well, there is probably one thing you should know: finding a wedding card that doesn't use the word groom or Mr. in it will be quite a challenge. We will both wear dresses and Tiona is changing her last name (just answering a couple of the questions we get a lot). It will probably feel a lot like any other wedding minus the groom. We can't believe only a few years ago we wouldn't have been able to legally get married and we are so thankful that we have this right. It's not always easy for us to share our love with the world, but we truly hope that you can see how much we want to share it with all of you.
