Small batch ice cream made in Redding. Classic flavors reinvented. By far, the best ice cream in town! Two locations, both great but I recommend the downtown location.
Our favorite Mexican restaurant ! We love the carnitas tacos, Al pastor tacos, and sometimes share a super burrito with one of those meats, no beans, but extra rice.
More of a “fancier” / classy restaurant. Beautiful inside seating and good food! Katie loves the Miso Steak Salad if they still have it.
Recently renovated with great outdoor seating and family friendly atmosphere! Go hit golf balls into the river. They have clubs you can rent, or you can bring your own! Food and beverages are available for purchase.
A place worth walking across if you’ve never been!
Beautiful lake not too far from Redding! It does require a pass, but you can get one at the recreation center on your way in!
Katie’s favorite place for a honey oat latte and sitting at the windowsill. Grab a coffee to-go and go walk across the Shasta Dam. Her favorite food on the menu is a Halie Awesome bagel sandwich on a cheese or everything bagel.
