Manganari Beach

Manganari Beach has which has white sand, clear water, and a bar nearby. It is further south on the island and about 40 minutes from the venue.

Psathi Beach is a free beach with great views of the coastline. This beach is about 30 minutes East of the venue.

Is the island’s capitol. It is a small village with white houses, narrow streets, and views of the Aegean Sea.

The tomb of the poet Homer is one of the most visited sites on the island. Homer was the author of The Odyssey and The Iliad. Homer’s Tomb is 25 minutes North of the venue.

Church of Panagia Gremniotissa

“On top of a hill above Chora, the capital of Ios, stands a small church in Ios dedicated to Panagia Gremiotissa, the saint protector of the island. The name of the church translates into the Virgin Mary of the Steep Cliff, probably because of its location. With a blue dome, white walls and a tall bell tower, this church stands out for the palm tree right next to it - this is why it can be seen from every part of Chora.”

Archeological Site of Skarkos

Skarkos is an early Bronze Age settlement found in Ios. There lies the most important prehistoric archaeological site of the Cyclades and about one thousand years older than the famous Akrotiri of Santorini.
