Buffalo AKG Art Museum

This is right next door to our wedding venue!

The Buffalo Zoo

The third-oldest zoo in the United States, founded in 1875. Featuring lions, giraffes, a Komodo dragon, polar bears, and real-life bison! Before or after your visit, take a stroll around Delaware Park, which is directly adjacent to the zoo grounds.

Buffalo City Hall Observation Deck

For stunning 360 degree views of the city of Buffalo, head to City Hall and take the elevator up to the 25th floor, then a set of stairs up to the observation deck at the top of the building. Access to the observation deck is free of charge.

Niagara Falls State Park

If you need a place to eat on the way to/from the Falls, we highly recommend Eggsquisite Eats on Grand Island (1752 Grand Island Blvd). We used to live a few minutes from here and the food is always excellent!

Canalside

Walk along the waterfront, rent kayaks, enjoy some light fare, tour historical naval boats and lots more.

One of our favorite brunch spots! They don’t take reservations but a brief wait is so worth it!

Our go-to for modern artisanal Italian comfort food. Seating is first-come, first-served, but they do carry out as well. This is very close to our wedding venue, across the street from the historic Richardson Hotel.
