FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP online by August 15th, 2026.

Question

How do I get to the wedding?

Answer

The venue is not far from highway 101 so we would recommend using ride share services if you plan on drinking at the wedding. However, if you'd like to drive, there is a large parking lot at the venue able to hold all attendees. If you do drive and later need a ride share, cars can be left in the parking lot overnight but must be picked up before 11:00am the next day (Sunday, October 4th). On most ride share apps you are able to schedule a car ahead of time so you can be sure to have a ride. If you'd like more info on this or help figuring it out give us a shout!

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love kids, in order to allow all guests, including parents, a day of celebration and fun we have chosen for our wedding to be an adults only occasion.

Question

Where should I stay? Do you have a hotel block?

Answer

We’ve reserved a room block at the Hampton Inn & Suites Paso Robles. Address: 212 Alexa Ct, Paso Robles, CA 93446 King rooms are available for $265 per night, and double queen rooms for $245 per night, with a two-night minimum stay of Friday, October 2nd and Saturday, October 3rd. To reserve a room within the block, please call 805-226-9988 ext. 0 and reference the Ware-Clokey Wedding. There is a link to the online platform on the "Travel" page if you'd like to book that way. The cut-off date for booking is August 18, 2026. After this date, any remaining rooms will be released, and guests will need to book at the best available rate. If you’d prefer other accommodations, we recommend staying in Paso Robles, Templeton, or Atascadero for the closest proximity to the venue. If you’d like to spend more time exploring San Luis Obispo, there are many great hotel and Airbnb options in town—The Madonna Inn is especially well-known for its fun, themed rooms. For a coastal stay, Cayucos and Morro Bay offer wonderful lodging options closer to the beach but are further from the wedding venue.

Question

What is the dress code for the wedding day?

Answer

The ceremony and reception on Saturday will be semi-formal. Think polished and elevated—dresses or stylish sets for women, and suits or slacks with a blazer and button-down for men (ties optional).

Question

What is the dress code for the welcome drinks?

Answer

The welcome drinks on Friday evening will be upscale casual. Think relaxed but put-together. Jeans or khakis with a nice shirt for men; a dress, skirt, or jeans with a stylish blouse for women.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding is outdoors held on a mix of gravel, grass, and concrete. Please consider bringing a light layer or jacket as it may get chilly in the evening. Ladies, we would recommend chunky heels over thin heels to navigate the terrain.

Question

What is the weather like during October in SLO?

Answer

Historically in October in the area the weather is in the mid 70's to 80 with a low of around 50. We'd recommend bringing a light jacket for the evening in case it gets a little chilly.

Question

What is the address of the wedding venue? Is it wheelchair accessible?

Answer

The welcome drinks and wedding day will be held at 1800 El Pomar Templeton, CA 93465. The venue is on flat ground ranging from gravel/dirt to grass. Wheelchairs should not have much trouble getting around. However, the bathrooms have a few steps up with a railing.

Question

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

Please list all allergies or restrictions when you RSVP. If you forget or have any other questions please email ksclokey.wedding@gmail.com.

Question

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift? Could you give me a link to your wedding registry?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home at 1115 Seaward St San Luis Obispo, CA 93405. A wedding card box will be at our reception. The registry is under the "Registry" tab at the top of this website.

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

Please do! The only time we ask you not to take photos is during the ceremony as it will be "unplugged" so all can enjoy and be in the moment.
