We are so excited that Spokane's largest food, music, and craft festival coincides with our wedding weekend! Just steps from the Davenport Hotel Tower, check out Pig Out in the Park - free admission! Enjoy walking around Riverfront Park and a selection of great PNW food, music, and crafts.
Get the best views of Spokane Falls and the Spokane River in this 15-minute gondola ride! Located in Riverfront Park.
The Centennial Trail runs for 40 miles, all the way to the Idaho Border. The trail wends through downtown and Riverfront Park. These are some of our favorite stretches of trail for running!
A cute natural grocery store, 10 minute walk from the Davenport Tower!
Classic diner fare open late!
Best tacos in town!
The home of chef Chad White's amazing ceviche! Great happy hour.
Our favorite local winery! You'll need a car or a ride to get here, but it's well worth the trip. Enjoy the beautiful views and a delicious food menu.
Classy dining in Spokane! Also featuring fabulous views of Spokane Falls, Clinkerdagger is known for their fantastic prime rib. However, the menu has something for everyone. The photo at the top of the page is from our last date night at the Clink - celebrating Sean's graduation from law school!
Prefer cider to beer? This is the BEST local cider. I'm partial to the lemon basil myself.
Great local beer! Also, if you catch it when Tacos Tumbras truck is parked on the patio, grab a burrito. They're delicious.
Great local brewery right on the Spokane River!
Durkin's is great - amazing seasonal menu and fabulous drinks!
What year is it again? The mall is alive and well here in Spokane. The AMC movie theater has those super-comfy recliner chairs, and the Twigs restaurant on the third level has great food, drinks, a solid happy hour, and a discount if you show your same-day movie ticket.
Enjoy some local wine!
This one's our cheers - where everybody knows our name! This is our favorite local pub.
Our sandwich spot!
We go way back with Anthony's - this regional seafood restaurant chain has locations in Seattle, Tacoma, Anacortes, and many more. We've been on Anthony's dates all over the PNW! The draw of Anthony's at Spokane Falls, apart from the great food, is the stunning views of the waterfalls. Reservations recommended, it's a popular spot.
Pretty great burgers at Heritage! You can get a burger with a hash brown in it...that is all.
Hogwash is a great local whiskey bar!
Mount Spokane is gorgeous! This is where we took our engagement photos - all the way at the summit! Skiing in the winter and hiking/biking in the summer, Mt. Spokane is tons of fun in any season.
Okay, the entire Riverside State Park pretty much encapsulates why Spokane's motto is "near nature, near perfect." We love how quickly you reach wilderness as soon as you leave town. Check out the suspension bridge down at the Bowl & Pitcher area - it's gorgeous!
Okay, it's pretty dangerous that we now live a mile from South Hill Grill. It's our go-to spot for any meal, and they have everything from burgers to sushi! I know, it sounds crazy, but everything they do is delicious. If you're up on the south hill and you need lunch, this is a great spot.
Bring the kids! Super cool kids discovery center/museum right in riverfront park by Spokane Falls.
Immerse yourself in northwest arts & culture at the MAC in historic Browne's Addition!
This is our favorite spot to kayak! A nice little beach on the river, with restrooms and a nice slow current due to the dam just downriver from this spot. Great for kids, picnicking, and swimming!
Great spot for swimming and relaxing on the Spokane river!
It's our local Irish pub! If you get up on the bar and sing a song, you get to stick a dollar with your name on the wall. Sean has a dollar on the wall, but Katie's too chicken to do it so far.
Classic drive-in style cheap burger spot!
Spokane locals LOVE Zip's. A great spot for a cheap burger & fries!
