Maid of Honor
I am Katie’s favorite cousin. Sean once said that when he first met me, he found me very intimidating. I hope he still thinks so.
Best Man
Sean was my first friend at URI. 8 years later I couldn’t be happier he met the love of his life and we are all best friends.
Bridesmaid
When we were kids, I may have been responsible for the groom's jammed rotator cuff. But NOT his broken ankle, that was his own fault.
Groomsman
I’m thrilled to have Katie officially becoming family (she has been for a long time). I knew Sean had found the one the day he proudly declared grinning ear to ear he was on the joint paperwork for their cat, Addie :)
Bridesmaid
I’m Katie’s actual favorite cousin (sorry, Kel). Katie and I share the same love for finding new recipes, playing cards, and dancing in the kitchen.
Groomsman
When I was born, Katie asked our mom when I was going back to the hospital for good. I did not ask the same question when she brought Sean home for the first time.
Bridesmaid
I had such an instant friendship with the bride that we had a sleepover on the second day we met.
Groomsman
When we were kids, Katie taught me how to climb trees and play sports. As adults, I taught her how to send the first text to Sean when they first started dating.
Bridesmaid
The night Katie met Sean was one of the few nights no one else in our house wanted to go out, but Katie and I knew we had to make the most of our senior year, so we went out on a Monday. We had ourselves a night, she met the love of her life, and then we walked around our neighborhood talking about her future husband!
Groomsman
20 years later and Sean is still convinced that I “made” him run headfirst across an icy front yard, resulting in a fall and a few stitches. I maintain my innocence, but as in other moments of our lives, I may have “pushed” him in the right direction.
Bridesmaid
The bride and I have a lot in common. We were born exactly one week apart and like to get each other the same present for our birthdays.
Groomsman
I have known Sean for almost seven years and I am happy to see him finally make a smart bet by choosing to spend the rest of his life with the woman who he loves.
Bridesmaid
I knew it was true love when she was marrying him even though he doesn’t like chocolate!
Groomsman
Fate, destiny, or was it me convincing Sean to go to the bar on a Monday?
Officiant
I never really got ordained, so none of this is even going to be legal
