One of the best times to Visit the Great Smoky Mountains is the Fall. October is one of the busiest months for the area. Please plan accordingly with leave and arrival times.

What is the Weather like in October?

Pack for two seasons this time of year. The weather in the Smokies is hard to predict. In October the temperature Highs are around 70°F and Lows in the 40°F. Higher elevations will require warmer clothing and rain gear in some cases.

Private Ceremony in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.

Is the Ceremony outdoors?

Answer

Yes, the Ceremony will be held outdoors in a field. There will be no cover in the event of rain.

Is there parking available at the Ceremony?

Answer

Yes, there is limited parking. Guest who will be going to the ceremony will be meeting ahead of time and traveling together to reduce the amount of vehicles at the site and to insure prompt arrival in the park.

Is the Reception Indoor or Outdoor?

The reception will be held indoor, guests will not need to worry about weather or other environmental factors.
