FAQs

The Wedding Website of Katie Hughes and PJ Rich
Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire is recommended for our wedding celebration. For ladies, midi or floor-length dresses, dressy jumpsuits or elegant separates are suitable. For gentlemen, suits or dress pants with a button-down shirt and blazer are encouraged; ties are optional. We'll be on grass for part of the evening, so please keep that in mind when choosing your shoes. For the welcome party, resort cocktail attire is encouraged. For gentleman, we suggest slacks with a button-down or linen shirt. For ladies, long cocktail dresses, elegant jumpsuits or sundresses with floral prints are welcome. We want everyone to feel comfortable and ready to celebrate the start of the wedding weekend!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! We will be providing shuttle transportation to and from the ceremony. Shuttles will depart from 'Alohilani Resort at 1:45 PM and return at the end of the evening (10 PM). Please note that our venue is in a more remote location, and ride-share services like Uber or Lyft may be limited or unavailable at the end of the night. We strongly encourage guests to use our provided transportation or arrange a pre-scheduled ride if needed.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

If you are not interested in using the arranged shuttle service, there is free parking available at the venue.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at the ceremony by 3pm. There are two large shuttles departing promptly at 1:45 PM from 'Alohilani Resort (Waikiki), so we recommend arriving a few minutes early to ensure a smooth departure. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes we do! Please see our travel page.

Question

Answer

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?
