For anyone who doesn’t know, PJ and I met the old-fashioned way… online (lol). We matched on Tinder in 2021 and messaged for a bit before deciding to meet in person. Our first date was at a dive bar in Largo called Rudy’s. We ate, played darts and pool, and just talked for hours. I still remember exactly what PJ was wearing and I’ll never forget my very first thought when I saw him which was “Wow, he’s even cuter in person!” He made me laugh immediately. At one point, he jokingly threatened to order the fish nuggets (no shade to fish nugget lovers… but ew). It’s still an inside joke between us. Somewhere between the laughter and our shared love of SpongeBob, I knew this guy was going to be in my life for a long time. While playing pool, he did "that" move.....you know, the “let me help you shoot” move, coming around me all smooth. Lord knows I needed the help with pool. With darts, PJ claims that when I went to the restroom, he threw 3 bullseyes in a row....Yet nobody was there to see 🤔 highly suspicious if you ask me, but he swears to it! We had the best first date, and needless to say it was not our last. Our relationship continued to blossom and over the next few years we discovered our love of travel together; From New Mexico & Colorado, to California, & to London, Paris & beyond! I've found my person and I wouldn't trade it for the world. Here is to us, all the memories we've made, and more because the best has yet to come.
