Katie and Philip shared anatomy group during their first year at Drexel Medical School. Katie noticed Philip's kindness and friendly nature and decided to get his number from a classmate. She reached asked him if he wanted to meet in the anatomy lab to study and he agreed. While they were studying in the lab she asked him if he would be going to the class formal after the upcoming exam. He informed her that he didn't have a ticket. She quickly responded that she had an extra ticket if he would like to join her. They went to the event together and as the night came to a close Katie informed Philip that she was interested in him. The next day they made plans to get Chinese food and watch Good Will Hunting, Philip's favorite movie. After that they were inseparable, studying for exams, binging TV shows and even learning how to cook. They moved home for COVID, completed first year virtually and spent time with Katies family making meals around the world and playing games in the garage. Following first year, they decided to move into the city together, their first of four apartments. They moved around for rotations and supported each-other through a tough 4 years. After surviving medical school, they got engaged in Katies back yard in Severna Park. They then moved to the New England area where Philip is completing his ENT residency at the University of Connecticut and Katie is completing her Radiology residency at Boston Medical Center.
