Man of Honor
Michael and I met in undergrad, no doubt, getting into trouble as we so often did. Whether we were planning the next intensely themed party, rehearsing for a show, eating breakfast lunch AND dinners together, or walking to class with each other we found a way to make a "thing" out of it. Michael is the sort of person you want in your life to not only get you into trouble, but then tenderly (and miraculously) get you out of trouble. He was there to ditch the first time Nolan and I were supposed to hang out. Michael was the person I told when I started catching feelings for Nolan, he was there when Nolan and I moved in together, he'd go to the puppy park with me and Eve, and he will be next to me on the big day as my Man of Honor!
Best Man
Lets see, Allen and I met the first day we showed up for Organic Chemistry Lab Teaching at the University of Tennessee in summer of 2013. It didn't take long to discover we both played baseball and hockey when we were younger and that we also shared in common liking $10 all you can drink beer from the local line dancing bar on Friday nights. From there, we have spent the last 7 years growing our friendship, and our families, together. We have grown together over that time and had the incredible highs and toiling lows together that come with discovering your 20s in graduate school. He was the first person I told I would end up marrying Katie, even though it had only been a few weeks of I and her dating. I look forward to you being with us as my Best Man!
