When is the wedding?

Our wedding is on Saturday, September 13, 2025. The ceremony will begin at 5:30pm and will be immediately followed by cocktail hour and the reception in the same area of the Arboretum.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We kindly ask that you arrive at least 30 minutes before the ceremony begins, which will start promptly at 5:30pm. This gives you time to settle in, grab a welcome drink, and enjoy the moment. Please note that for the sake of the ceremony, anyone arriving after the start time will not be allowed in until the ceremony concludes.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by August 1, 2025 so we can plan accordingly. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

What if I don't RSVP in time?

Answer

In order to ensure we have enough space and food for everyone, we kindly ask that you RSVP by August 1, 2025. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to accommodate any guests who RSVP after the deadline, as we need to finalize the guest list and arrangements with our vendors well in advance. Your prompt response helps us ensure everything runs smoothly. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation!

What's the dress code?

Answer

We originally listed “semi-formal,” but we’ve realized that means something different to everyone! To help clarify: we’d love for guests to dress on the more elevated side — cocktail to formal attire is perfect. Think suits and ties, elegant dresses, or anything you'd wear to a festive evening celebration. The ceremony is outdoors, but the vibe is still polished and celebratory, and you’ll look amazing in the photos!

Are kids invited?

We love your little ones, but we’ve decided to make our wedding an adults-only event with few exceptions to allow everyone to fully enjoy the celebration. We hope you understand and can’t wait to celebrate with you! Please reach out to us if you have any questions.

Can I invite a plus one?

Answer

We are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you receive a plus one, it will appear on your invitation envelope and when your RSVP online. Thank you so much for understanding!

Can I take photos?

Answer

We kindly ask that you leave your phones and cameras aside during the ceremony so everyone can fully enjoy the moment. Our amazing photographer will be capturing all the beautiful memories, and we can’t wait to share those with you later! After the ceremony, feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like. We appreciate your understanding in making this moment special and present for all of us!

Is this event outdoors?

Answer

Yes! Our wedding is outdoors in a meadow with stunning views of the old Capitol columns featured on our Save the Date. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be uncovered, while the reception will be under a tent. We recommend block heels or flats for women for ease of walking on grassy areas.

What if weather doesn't cooperate?

While we’re hoping for sunshine, we’ve got you covered if the weather doesn’t cooperate! If it rains, we’ll provide umbrellas for everyone so you can still enjoy the ceremony. We’ll embrace the weather and make it a fun, memorable part of the day—rain or shine, we’re ready to celebrate with you!

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is parking available at the venue! The parking lot is located at 2400 R Street Northeast, Washington, DC 20002. If you're taking an Uber or Lyft, you can use the same address to ensure you're dropped off right at the correct entrance.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We’ll have an open bar with a variety of drinks to keep the celebration flowing. We want everyone to have a great time, but please drink responsibly. We can’t wait to raise a glass with you!
