While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event for numbers sake and so that everyone can enjoy the evening with some cocktails. If you need any recommendations for sitters in the area, please let us know!
There will be shuttles from the hotels that we have reserved blocks at that you can reserve your seat. The venue is also easily accessible with Lyft and Uber. Additionally, Whitehead Manor is gracious enough to have a large parking lot that guests are able to leave their vehicles at overnight to ensure everyone is able to safely enjoy some cocktails if they so wish!
Our wedding is summer cocktail! We want everyone to feel and look their best but still be comfortable enough to tear up the dance floor. Men can wear a suit and tie with dress shoes. Women can wear a cocktail dress or nice summer dress with heels. While North Carolina weather is typically warm and sunny in May, please remember our event is outdoors and plan accordingly. The ceremony area is filled with lush gardens and trees to help block out the sun and plenty of indoor space and a tent in case of inclement weather.

The ceremony will start at 4 so please plan accordingly to find your seat before then but not so early that you interrupt the set up or the bride and grooms first look
YES! Please respect the bride and grooms wishes to have an unplugged ceremony so our amazing photographer and videographer can capture the moments and all guests can be fully present. We will have assigned guests to take cell phone pictures that will not be in the way of the professionals. Don't be that guest leaning into the aisle with a phone ;)
