The Wedding Website of Katie LaCourt and Nic Rider
Meet our family and friends who will be walking down the aisle with us!

Bailey Rider

Daughter of the Groom and Flower Girl

Every wedding needs a flower girl... Nic and Katie are so lucky to be able to have Bailey fill that role! She is so excited to be included on this day, and we are so happy to have her there. Bailey spends half her time at Daddy and Katie's house. Every day she is home with us is a reminder of the family that we are blessed to have and that we want to continue building. This little girl is so loved by everyone in her life, and her family just got twice as big!

Colden LaCourt

Bride’s Nephew and Ring Bearer

We can't imagine a better guy to fill the role of Ring Bearer. Colden is wise beyond his short 4 years. Just ask him about the Beatles! Him and Bailey have found a fast friendship in each other and they cannot wait to be (step) cousins!

Laura Fang

Matron of Honor

Laura is my very best friend. I grew up with two brothers but I always wished for a sister and I found just that in Laura. We have known each other since babies, but developed a life-lasting bond in the middle school years. Laura helped me out of my shy shell and together we discovered that a life full of laughter is the best way to live. We could write a textbook about all of our schemes and adventures and pranks and memories. Her friendship was a fundamental change to who I am and I have no idea who I would be if she hadn't come into my life. I could never explain in one paragraph how much she means to me and I'm so grateful she gets to stand by my side on my wedding day, as she has my entire life! All of my bridesmaids have been my very best friends since middle/high school. We got to be teenagers together, play sports together, choose colleges together, go through our first loves and heartbreaks together, figure out the intricacies of life together, and most importantly - grow up together. These gals know me better than most people, and I am so grateful that when I was young, I found such a solid group of friends that will last a lifetime.

Saige Hupman

Bridesmaid

Saige's brother was best friends with my two brothers, and we became close by default. We played on the volleyball team together in school and played lots of pickup games and tournaments together after that. (Saige now coaches a college team!) One of the best things about Saige is she is always around, and I always need her there. Back during college, I remember coming home a few times and Saige would already be there, just chillin with my brothers!

Laycei Lockwood

Bridesmaid

Oh if San Diego could tell it's stories. Some of my favorite memories with Laycei are the times I visited her when she lived in San Diego. Not much to remember, but lots to look back on as we both navigate lives of sobriety! Laycei is one of the most reliable people I know, one I can always count on no matter what. We both share a love for seltzers and puzzles.

Maureen VanDeusen

Bridesmaid

Me and Maur ran our first marathon together our senior year of high school. A bucket list item we took by the reigns. My favorite memory from that time was when I accidentally hawked a loogie on her in the middle of a long run (it was windy and rainy). She didn't speak to me for like 8 miles and it was torture! Maintaining relationships as adults can be tough, especially when they don't live around the corner. I'm blessed to be able to see Maur when I have a work conferences in Albany to visit her and her husband and their two kids.

Jenny Lee

Bridesmaid

They say that there are some friendships where it doesn't matter how long you've gone without seeing each other, you always pick back up right where you left off. That is Jenny. We've gone long spurts without talking to each other because life is like that, but she remains one of my closest friends. We love being goofballs. Our hilarious memories can still make me double over in laughter.

Matt Liquori

Best Man

Matt and I have many similar interests. We first got to know each other in Scouts, but our relationship really grew while going through wrestling together. You really get to know the guy who is one weight class away from you. Through high school and college, Matt and myself have created many memories together, and in the recent parts of our lives Matt has inspired my sense of adventure in many ways. Put the two of us in the mountains, and we're gonna have a good time.

Zach Finn

Groomsman

Growing up, every young man looks for someone to look up to. I am fortunate enough to have had Zach as that person. He was a few years ahead of me when I got to the varsity wrestling team, and he was a leader on that team. Finn became a positive role model growing up for me, but as our friendship grew, we found our fair share of trouble to get into. Someone could write a book on all the inside jokes that we share, and that someone would probably be Finn. Zach has moved out away from home, but I'm happy to say that we still check up on each other regularly, and find time to meet up, and feel like kids again.

Alex Ross

Groomsman

Some of my first friends, and the first family I really bonded with outside of my own, the Ross brothers have been some of my closest friends for as long as I can remember. Through Boy Scouts, family vacations, and the nuances of life, we have created a lifelong bond that I am so grateful for. Alex and Chris are two of the best people I know, and I'm honored to have them by my side on the day of my wedding.

Chris Ross

Myles Parrotta

Groomsman

Myles moved to East Rochester in 4th grade. Once we learned that we both lived in the same neighborhood, our friendship began to take the steps towards what it is today. Myles and I wrestled together and learned about life together. Later on, we were lucky enough to both have daughters right around the same time, and then become single fathers right around the same time as well. Bailey and Eva have become best friends, thus, the cycle continues.
