Mr. B’s has been an important part of our lives - it was Becky’s favorite place to go in NOLA, Katie had her college graduation lunch here with Mimi, and it’s where we first ate together with both of our parents! You have to order the BBQ Shrimp (warning: it’s messy), the shrimp & grits and the duck spring rolls!
Book a table at one of the most classic and beautiful restaurants in Uptown New Orleans! It’s where many celebrations take place for visitors and locals alike. Pro Tip: go for lunch during the week and get 25 cent martinis 😉
A funky spot off the beaten path Uptown, Jacques-Imo’s is famous for its inventive seafood and watermelon mojitos. Another Becky Mitchell favorite. They don’t take reservations though so go early or you may need to wait a bit!
A no frills steakhouse very close to the wedding venue! They don’t really even have a menu - you’ll just tell the server what type of steak and how you’d like it cooked. Settle in for great steak, a huge pile of onion rings and a bottle of red.
