Site seeing & Hiking

We are planning to enjoy the weekend with our guests in a lead up the the wedding. If you like please join us in Estes on Saturday and stay through the wedding on Monday. There is so much to do in Estes. We can explore the downtown, hike and tour Rocky Mountain National Park. It should be peak time to see the aspens changing color. We hope to have some time around a campfire to enjoy time with you all each night. Also, don't forget to mark your calendars for August 1st so you can secure tickets to Rocky Mountain National Park the weekend before the ceremony. Get your tickets here: https://www.nps.gov/romo/planyourvisit/timed-entry-permit-system.htm We will hike Lilly Mountain (4mi moderate) at 9am on Sunday. This trail is outside of RMNP so no timed entry is necessary. We’ll also announce where we plan to meet for meals and other activities around town that weekend so guests can join in as they wish.

Family Rehearsal Dinner

6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Casual Attire: Anything goes, from sundresses and sandals to jeans and tees.

We will have access to a beautiful view and be able to mingle both inside and out.

Ceremony

2:00 pm

Mountain Casual: Wear comfortable dresses, pantsuits, button downs, vests, boots (high heals will not be comfortable on the natural terrain) and remember a layer for when the sun goes down. It gets chilly.

Arrive at 2pm for cocktail hour with snacks. You can mingle and contribute to the blessing mandala that will surround us at the altar. Everyone will be seated at 3pm for the ceremony. The venue is all outdoors. You will walk over a bridge to enter the reception area. This area hosts a large fire pit and pavilion, which are next to a river. Beyond this area is the ceremony site. It's a large meadow surrounded by mountains.
