Katie and I were introduced to one another through mutual friends in the summer of 2016 in Nashville. An immediate spark between the two of us lead us to where we are today. Along the way we’ve gotten to enjoy many weddings, memorable travels, quarantine, concerts, time well spent with family and friends and even a nephew! I was drawn to Katie’s warm and loving attitude. Her kind concern for family and friends and sweet disposition were things that made me feel at home and at peace. Katie’s endearing temperament was not her only draw as her charming personality was also ever present, which would make sense if you are going to win Rowdiest Rodeo Fan in Jackson Hole on a Smith family vacation. When Nate asked me to marry him, January 30th, 2021, it was the easiest yes I have ever said! I know that might sound cliché but Nate is the most thoughtful person I have ever met. The reasons I want to marry Nate are endless. However, I am looking forward to a lifetime of delicious home cooked meals, his carefree attitude and patient nature. We’ve been lucky enough to feel so welcomed by one another’s families, each feeling like an extension of our originals. Being surrounded by our family and friends as we culminate our love in marriage is a dream come true. We cherish being able to share the beginning of that journey with you on November 20, 2021 – cheers!
