We love all things local in stl. Here are a few places we recommend to those who are not from the area and to those that are-- you already know. ;)

Things To Do

The zoo is FREE! This place is the best. The zoo is open from 9am-5:00pm almost every day of the week.

Saint Louis Zoo

One of the best breweries in STL. We love it here!

Urban Chestnut Grove Brewery and Bierhall

Nate and I have been here once before! Definitely worth the trip if you have little ones. It is a little pricy, but the surrounding area is awesome too. So many things at Union Station to choose from.

St. Louis Aquarium at Union Station

A go to staple for Nate and I. We've had many gatherings here and several beers too. :)

4 Hands Brewing Co

A seriously gorgeous place to visit. There is a boathouse at forest park (restaurant included), and you can rent paddle boats to go out on the water!

Forest Park

Highly recommend this place to eat. It will not fail you.

Southern (BEST fried chicken in stl)

You could take a tour, watch a game (depending on corona of course), or simply walk around this awesome stadium.

Busch Stadium GO BIRDS

Our favorite BBQ place in stl. When we lived in Soulard, this was Nate and I's go-to stop.

Bogart's Smokehouse BBQ

A lovely place very close to Sunflower Hill Farms. It has a gorgeous overlook and close to the Katy Trail if you're into biking/hiking!

Chandler Hill Vineyards

Our favorite ice cream in STL! They have boozy, vegan, and regular flavors galore. The "gooey butter cake" flavor is to die for!

Clementine's Naughty and Nice Creamery

Amazing place to eat! I hear Executive Chef, Evy, is quite the cook. ;) SHE IS PEOPLE. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED.
