Unfortunately there will be no parking at the Hostetler's. Shuttle details below for Saturday. If you are planning to come over on Sunday, please bike or walk from town. There is free parking at the ice rink and rodeo grounds and the walk is about 10 minutes. There will be limited parking for those who are unable to walk or bike from town.
There is NO VEHICLE PARKING at the venue. You are more than welcome to walk or bike if you are staying nearby. We will also be providing shuttle service to and from the venue as follows: Free overnight public parking is available at the Howelsen Ice Arena and Rodeo Complex. The entrance to the parking lot is at 285 Howelsen Parkway and is marked by a blue sign with a big white P on it (about 1/2 mile north of the venue). The Shuttle pick-up/drop-off location will be marked with balloons and signs. The Shuttle Vehicles are white vans with the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club logo/sign on the side. Passenger Loading for shuttle service to the venue will begin at 4:00pm and will continue until 4:50pm – it’s only about a 2 minute ride from the parking lot to the venue. Early Shuttle Service back to the parking lot will run between 9:00pm and about 9:15pm. We will then have a break in service to let traffic departing the Saturday evening rodeo events die down. Later Shuttle Service will resume at about 10:00pm and will run as needed/as requested until 1:00am. Our shuttle drivers will take passengers back to the parking lot OR, if requested, will take passengers to their hotel or other local accommodations.
The dress code for our wedding ceremony and reception is semi-formal. This includes suits, dressy jumpsuits or cocktail dresses. Please note that the wedding and reception will be held on a grass lawn, so please choose your footwear appropriately and don't forget sunglasses! The temperature will drop quickly after the sun sets, so please make sure to bring a jacket.
The average high in Steamboat for July is 82° F and the low is 44° F. If you are coming from low altitude, please remember to stay hydrated!
The Yampa River will likely be too low for tubing by the end of July. If you are looking to spend a day on the water, we'd recommend Stagecoach Reservoir, Pearl Lake or Steamboat Lake.
