Morgan and Katie's love story started as a workplace romance. Their friendship began after working at Chick-fil-A together for about a year and was followed by three months of constant facetimes, texts, and church hangouts. Then Morgan finally made it official after work one night on October 15, 2022 to be exact. ;) They enjoyed senior proms, dance recitals, and lots of baseball games their first year of dating. Then, Morgan moved to FSU to pursue an accounting degree at the same time that Katie was attending VSU to become an occupational therapist, her dream career. While the distance was challenging at first, they learned to cherish every moment they have together, no matter how long or short. They both continued to serve in their local churches and loved attending church together every Sunday possible. Then, unexpected to Katie, Morgan popped the big question on May 31, 2025. Morgan got Katie dressed up under the guise of a fancy dinner and had planned an unexpected pitstop where he got down on one knee. That wasn't all of his plans, though. He coordinated with a photographer to document the whole thing. Then, he made Katie think they were going to dinner next with her fancy ring on, but instead they ended up at a party with all of their loved ones to celebrate. Since then, wedding planning together has been a joy (and a little stressful haha). After the big day, Morgan and Katie have plans to move to Augusta, Georgia. Katie is enrolled in Augusta University's 2 year MOT program, so while she is finishing her degree, Morgan will be working in accounting with his new degree. They are both excited for all the life changes together and all God has in store for them. And they are grateful for every person who has helped them get where they are today!
