Delicious and affordable breakfast. Expect a line, but it usually moves pretty fast and it's worth it. Katie's favorite is the breakfast sandwich that isn't on the menu.

Great for a nicer dinner out - creative and delicious. A favorite local date spot for us.

A short, but STEEP hike in Montreat. There is a bigger trail system beyond this hike, if you want something longer!

Kitsuma Peak

A great place for a walk. It's a paved greenway, which is great for bikes and strollers as well. Enjoy an easy and beautiful walk to the flagpole at Point Lookout with stunning views.

Point Lookout Trail, Ridgecrest Trailhead

A park in Black Mountain with a half mile loop around the lake, picnic tables, and a nice playground.
