We went here on our first date! It's the finest cuisine you will ever eat in a basement. Great spot for dinner. We recommend the duck fat fries or truffle fries, the mac & cheese balls, the house smoked lamb ribs, and pork belly tacos.
This was the second stop on what turned into a seven-hour first date. Great escape for chats that can last for hours... just ask the bride and groom. Grab a drink, a meal, or even a late night snack at this hidden gem.
Best brunch in town. Period. During one of our halfway meetups, we stumbled across this place and fell in love (with the food). We particularly love the steak and eggs and, for something more indulgent, the seafood biscuits and gravy! They also have an amazing variety of pancake and waffle recipes.
We went to dinner here on the night Matt proposed. Perfect for a treat yourself meal! They have lunch and dinner. We highly recommend the spicy fried oysters with grits and the filet.
This is in the hotel/museum where Matt proposed, 21C. Check out the art exhibits and grab a drink. We had our celebratory drink in the bar right after our engagement followed by brunch the next day (with OJ and Jamie!). The chicken biscuit is amazing. They also do breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
There is also a location downtown where hours are limited. We frequently stop for a super casual and quick taco or burrito when driving between Nicholasville and Indianapolis. Recommendations: the norteño or fajita tacos and the chile relleno burrito.
Stop in and learn about Matt's favorite athlete and icon. You can't stop in Louisville without paying respect to The Greatest (of all time!).
Louisville's more than bourbon and horse racing—step up to the plate and learn more about what all Louisville has to offer.
There are several distilleries and tasting rooms right in Louisville worth checking out!
They allow you to select distilleries and arrange transportation between the distilleries. There are a ton of different options.
