Flight
Charleston's only commercial service airport. All the major airlines fly into CHS and getting the 12 miles to downtown is easy with plenty of Lyft and Uber available. Rental cars also available.
Hotel
We have reserved a block of rooms at Homewood Suites. The hotel is brand new and within walking distance to both St. Patrick's and the American Theatre. Please book via the link below by January 21, 2025 for the discounted rate.
Travel Note
Our room block is at the Homewood Suites, however there are plenty more options for hotels and vacation rentals in the Upper King St area. - St. Philip Square vacation rentals - Katie's family is staying here (https://www.stphilipsquare.com/) - Courtyard by Marriott Charleston Historic District - Hotel Bella Grace - Hotel Bennett or The Dewberry - The nicest hotels in close walking distance. Worth the splurge! - Stay Duvet vacation rentals (https://www.stayduvet.com/charleston-rentals?cities=charleston¤t_page=1) - VRBO - Cannonborough-Elliotborough or Radcliffeborough neighborhoods are close to the venues
Travel Note
We are not providing guest transportation, however downtown Charleston is very walkable. St. Patrick's church is 1 block from the American Theatre, and both are easily walkable from hotels and vacation rentals in the area. Lyft and Uber are also plentiful downtown.
Travel Note
Charleston has so many great restaurants and bars. Here are a few of our favorites: - Lewis BBQ - A little out of the way, but our favorite BBQ place in town. Get the Hot Gut smoked sausage and thank us later. - Miller’s All Day - Brunch hot spot - Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit - Delicious fresh biscuits & more - Brown Dog Deli - 40 Broad St. Don’t miss out on the fried green tomato BLT. - Fleet Landing - The only downtown restaurant set on the water. - Sorelle - Soups, sandwiches, and salads during the day, upscale Italian at night. - Off Track Ice Cream - Heavy’s Bar Burger - Another off the beaten path with the best patty melt in the world. Upper King Bars - Stars Rooftop - Bodega - Ritual Rooftop - For a dive bar option: Burns Alley Tavern - Karaoke? Frontier Lounge
