Mason and I have known each other almost our entire lives. We grew up doing theater together. Neither of us thought much of the other until the fall of 2012 when we were partnered together for one of our dance numbers. We were instant friends and began meeting for dinner after school before our rehearsals. I definitely had a crush on him but my silly 16 year old self did not want to admit it because he was a year younger than me. When Mason told me he liked me a few weeks after we started hanging out, I said "Sorry, I am not going to date a younger guy." His response was "We'll see." As I am sure you have figured out by now, I did date the younger guy and I sure am glad I did. I feel so lucky to have gotten to grow up with my person. Mason is a blessing to me in so many ways, and I cannot wait to walk through life with my very best friend.

I have known Katie for the majority of my life. We grew up doing theater together, and if you would have told 10 year-old me that I was going to MARRY her, I would’ve thought you were crazy. Now, almost eight years later, the crazy one here is Katie for saying yes. We quickly became friends after we were partnered together for a dance number in 2012, and pretty soon after, we started meeting every day after school for dinner before our Christmas show. At this point I was crushing hard, but our year in age difference was apparently a big deal, even though we hung out every day and talked all night, so I’m not convinced she didn’t want a chase. Nevertheless, a chase she got! All these years later, I am still just as excited to be with her everyday as I was then, and I am truly thankful that I have been able to grow up with her by my side, and I can’t wait to call her my WIFE!
