The entire event is OUTDOORS on grass and wood chips, with subtly uneven surfaces. Wear proper footwear: boots, chunky heels, sandals, etc. Hopefully the sun will be shining bright on us, and hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen are recommended! Other than this, we expect to look out into an audience of bright happy colors- with each of your wearing what makes you feel the most comfortable and beautiful! Western-ware for the sake of Katie's southern roots and farm living are definitely welcome, but not required. Its going to be Spring, so dress like it!
Our featured tapas will have both veggie, non-veggie, dairy-free and gluten-free options. These will be labeled accordingly. Our charcuterie grazing table will heavily feature wheat-based crackers and bread. For our Gluten-free folks, we are providing a separate charcuterie grazing board with entirely gluten-free options to avoid cross contamination. The Veggie Paella is fully vegan, with no dairy or meat featured. There are a few folks who can't eat bell peppers, and separate Veggie Paella dish will be prepared for them.
Hidden Villa resides along Moody Rd. up in the Los Altos Hills where cell service isn't always perfect. For this reason, we suggest mapping your route well before you make it to the hills so you can ensure your navigation will work and take you to the right place. Once you are on the property the HVGuest WIFI works great and doesn't require a password. Signs will be set up to guide folks up-ranch to the main parking lot, past the lower portion of the property where the ceremony and reception will take place. From there, able folks will follow signs for a short walk down to the event. A golf cart will be provided for anyone who may need support!
We love all of the wonderful kiddos in our life and wanted them to have a chance to celebrate alongside all of you! We are expecting around 25 kinds under 15 y/o. If you have children under 5, please do not grab them a plate at dinner as we are only renting plates to account for adults and older children. Thank you for working with us in this regard! We will have an established "quiet-er" zone inside the 'Dana Center' where the event is taking place. Here, momma's with infants can breastfeed in peace, young ones can take a nap, or just have a secluded place to relax and get out of the sun. During the ceremony we kindly ask you to provide whatever distracting measures work for your kids if you predict them to be antsy and disruptive. The ceremony is an especially important part of the day for us and we appreciate any efforts you can make to keep the audience fairly quiet- except for laughing at our hilarious jokes, of course.
