It all started when Kyle left a comment on Katie's Hinge profile, and Katie "swiped right" to start the conversation. After a week of texting, the two met at Torchy's Tacos for their first date. The date flowed so well that they had to continue the night at Chelsea Corner, a nearby bar. At the end of the night, before even pulling out of the parking lot, Kyle deleted the Hinge app. He had found his match.

Katie & Kyle's favorite way to spend a Saturday morning is visiting White Rock Lake to walk the trails or take their yellow lab, Palmer, to swim. The lake has always felt sentimental to the couple, so it's no surprise Kyle would propose there. One evening, before a "dinner date" Kyle had planned, the two diverted to White Rock Lake where a blanket and champagne were set up. Kyle proposed, Katie said "YES!" and they headed to an after-party at Katie's brother and sister-in-law's house. We can't wait to celebrate with you on our wedding day.
