Welcome to the Cottrell Wedding

We first met in 2009 at 13 & 15 years old. We were never really friends back then but for a while we were around each other because our friends were friends. But those times ended. Let’s time travel to 2013, Katie was playing hard to get and Kyle was not winning! Kyle would message Katie through Facebook and check on her anytime she would post something sad. Kyle would also comment on her photos or message her and tell her she was beautiful, but Katie friendzoned him. (LOL) In 2015, Katie posted a picture on Instagram and Kyle comments “heart eyes emoji” and Katie replied with a kiss and wink emoji. Kyle texted one of his friends that he knew was also friends with Katie and asked for phone number. That same day Kyle and Katie texted and about a week later they went on their first day to see Furious 7 and ate at Apple Bees. It was a very successful date and the rest is history. <3

Kyle proposed on Katie’s Birthday at Bowman’s on Kerr Lake under the bright moon as they walked on the Bowman’s beach. It was a very beautiful night and a very beautiful proposal! *he was nervous, but it was perfect*
