Our story was uniquely woven together by the Lord. Kevin and I met at Piedmont Atlanta where we both still work. I saw him for the first time in the elevator and remember telling my mom, “there’s this really cute guy at work.” My mom then asked if I tried talking to him, which I responded with, “oh gosh no.” Over the course of a year, I built up the courage to talk to him at any chance I got. Despite Kevin resisting my efforts for a long time, he finally caved in. Our coworkers started to notice before we did that we were meant to be more than just friends. Kevin asked me out on our first date on April 27th, 2024, and I was over the MOON! We dated for over year before getting engaged on August 29th at Lake Oconee. I was wearing sweatpants, my nails weren’t done, and my hair was in a bun. Absolute perfection. Here’s to forever with the cute guy from work! I couldn’t have dreamt for a better love story than ours.
