Indianapolis Motor Speedway
Home to the greatest spectacle in racing! The track runs multiple tours throughout the week. Also, the big race is the weekend after our wedding, so if you stay around afterwards you can join in on some of the fun events at the track. Fun fact - a tour of the speedway was the first birthday present Katie ever gave Kevin!
Mass Ave
One of the most fun streets in Indy! Fantastic restaurants and bars to enjoy, including The Eagle, Bakersfield, Burnside Inn, and much much more.
Bottleworks District
Further down Mass Ave, you will find yourself in the Bottleworks District. This district is home to the old Coca-Cola bottling plant that now houses the refurbished Bottleworks Hotel. You can also find Pins Mechanical (drinks, duckpin bowling, and pinball machines), The Garage Food Hall, Living Room Theater, and much more!
Newfields
Newfields is home to the Indianapolis Museum of Art! You can find art galleries, gardens, a historic home, and so much more here when you visit. Newfields is also home to the art installation "Funky Bones" as seen in the Indy-based movie 'The Fault in Our Stars'!
Indianapolis Canal Walk
Enjoy some time outside and take a walk down the canal! You can rent gondolas, pedal boats, surreys, bikes, and even segways to enhance the experience.
St. Elmo Steak House
One of the best steak houses in the country and an Indianapolis staple. Go and enjoy some steak, drinks, and the best (and spiciest) shrimp cocktail of your life! Make sure to grab a reservation early.
Broad Ripple
This is a cute and quirky neighborhood on the Northside of Indy and home to all the bars Katie and her friends would frequent when they went to Butler! Also, this neighborhood is home to the best bagels in the world at Bagel Deli (a can't miss!).
Brown County
If any our guests want to venture outside of Indy, we highly recommend visiting beautiful Brown County! There's plenty to do and see. For nature lovers, definitely visit Brown County State Park for some great sight-seeing, hiking, and even horseback riding. For art lovers, visit the town of Nashville, IN and go into all the small, family owned shops and restaurants.
