The Long Way to “I Do”

Our love story began in the most natural way—through mutual friends who brought us together without either of us realizing just how meaningful that introduction would become. What started as spending more time together, getting to know one another, and building a genuine friendship slowly turned into something deeper. It didn’t take long to realize that what we had was special, and on June 12, 2019, we officially began dating. As our relationship grew, so did our sense of partnership. In June 2020, we took a leap of faith and moved into our very first apartment together in Orlando. It was there that we truly learned what it meant to build a life side by side—balancing responsibilities, supporting one another, and creating a home filled with laughter, love, and countless memories. A few months later, in September 2020, our little family grew even more when we welcomed our dog, Tucker. From that moment on, Tucker became our constant companion, adding so much joy, chaos, and unconditional love to our lives. Over the next year and a half, we took on another big adventure together—attending the University of Central Florida side by side. Going through school together taught us the importance of teamwork, patience, and encouragement as we navigated busy schedules, late nights, and shared goals. Through every challenge and accomplishment, we continued to grow not only as individuals, but as a couple. After finishing school, we made the decision to move back to Stuart, a place that felt like home and the perfect setting for our next chapter. Returning there allowed us to slow down, reconnect with family and friends, and begin envisioning the future we wanted to build together. That vision started to become a reality in February 2025, when we began building our first home together. Watching something from the ground up come to life was incredibly meaningful, symbolizing the strong foundation we had already created in our relationship. Every decision, big and small, reminded us that we were building more than just a house—we were building a future. On December 5, 2025, that future became forever when we got engaged. It was a moment filled with love, excitement, and gratitude for the journey that brought us there—from a simple introduction by mutual friends to a life full of shared dreams. We are so thankful for the love and support of our family and friends who have been part of our story every step of the way. We cannot wait to celebrate this next chapter and our forever with all of you.
