Where to begin? Keegan & Katie go way back to middle school in 2011. We had mutual friends, but never became close friends until the end of high school around junior year. Throughout high school, Katie had a couple of boyfriends that were not the best fit for her, and little did she know, Keegan had the biggest crush on her for years and was waiting until the time felt right to shoot his shot! He started hinting at his feelings for her in small ways because he did not want to ruin the friendship they had created over the years. By the middle of their senior year of high school in 2018, Keegan and Katie confessed their feelings for each other and started to become more than friends. The night of high school graduation, Keegan and Katie had their first date at a hookah lounge. This is where things all began, and Keegan stole Katie's heart. This is where their journey of life together began, and it has been history ever since. Both Keegan and Katie went to college at NIU together where each pursued their own passions in life. For Katie, she was focused on Social Work, and Keegan, a strong love for Special Education. Both graduated on May 14th, 2022. The day after graduation, Keegan asked for Katie's hand in marriage, and it took her by complete surprise! It was one of the biggest moments in both of their lives, and that brings us to today. We are elated to share this beautiful moment with all of you as we join our families together and celebrate our love for one another. We cannot wait to share this special day with you all!
