Katie and Jourdain met in their 6th grade science/social studies class. Immediately they became best friends-The years to follow would include Katie dragging Jourdain around shopping, on various lunch/dinner dates, endless phone calls and text messages, attending senior prom together, countless birthday and holiday celebrations and attending Bloomsburg University. The first “date”: Over winter break when Katie was home from school they were unknowingly set up by a friend to show up at a local pub after losing touch for quite some time. Thinking there was going to be more people but it was just the 2 of them(how clever). Their friends always told them they were meant for each other, but were too afraid of the idea that their long-time friendship would be ruined. Little did they know this night would officially spark their interest to pursue each other as more than just friends. They began officially dating February 23rd of 2018 and the rest is history. Katie and Jourdain would move out of their parents home, begin adult life, adopt a kitten(Elsa) and move in together in March of 2021. Jourdain would graduate from college while working full-time and a few months later POP the question in OC, NJ at The Point surrounded by her family.
