Hello! Welcome to our wedding website! As most know but some may not; Josiah and I have actually known each other since we were kids, grew up in the same church and our families were close. Then as time went on we lost touch and we ended up finding each other on Facebook back in 2009 (He was in Japan and I was in Michigan, turns out it was July 20th for him when he first messaged me on Facebook!) . Omg he was so cute and I was so excited to have him as a friend on Facebook! 🙈🙃 I’ve always had a crush on him when we were little, but back then he was a few years older than me so my little kid brain didn’t think he even knew who I was or even noticed me. But the summer of 2018 he came to visit family in Michigan and hit me up on Instagram to see if I would want to hang out for the afternoon, of course I said yes and we ended up spending the entire day together going down memory lane and re-getting to know each other as adults. Towards the end of the evening Josiah confessed his childhood crush on me and I told him about my feelings as well, and the entire day made it obvious that those feelings were still there. We decided to see what we could do long distance as far as wanting to get to know each other better but not actually making any relationship official. He lived here in California and I was still living in Michigan. We spent 2.5 long long years of long distance until I finally made the move out here this last April. We’ve been officially dating for a year and on our anniversary of our first date (July 20th 2018) Josiah asked me to marry him (July 20th 2021) and our wedding date is (July 20th 2022) ❤️ it’s a crazy story and everyone we tell it to is just left in shock, but it’s such a fun one to tell!
