Our Story

The Wedding Website of Katie Long and Josh Welsh

Our Story: Josh and Katie met in 2014 through Katie's cousin and Josh's best friend, Brad. In 2016, Josh and Katie began their relationship doing long - distance. Distance was no fun, but there were so many wonderful weekends spent together filled with dinner dates, Josh culturing Katie in movies, and time with close family and friends. In 2019, Katie moved to Maryland! In 2020, Josh and Katie got an apartment together and adopted their quarantine pup, Eddie. During this time, Josh navigated a career change and Katie navigated virtual teaching! In 2021 Katie and Josh went on a family trip to Key West. On a sunrise walk the first morning there, Josh popped the question and they got to celebrate their engagement with some of their closest family and friends! The end of 2021 until now has been filled with the excitement of wedding planning and buying a new home! Katie and Josh are enjoying growing into this new stage of their lives together, and look forward to what the future holds!
