Marriage has a nice ring to it!

Nah, we're just kidding, but it was 2008!!! It was a classic case of girl meets boy, boy likes girl, girl likes boy, boy and girl become best friends and friend zone each other. How stupid right?! We went through every imaginable hardship, celebration, job change, and death throughout all those years and always managed to keep a bond no matter where we were located geographically. In fact, everyone pretty much had themselves convinced we were secretly a couple for a while there. Seems like everyone else saw it before we did. We played this game of cat and mouse for the better part of a decade UNTIL that one dark stormy night where Katie got a little liquid courage during quarantine and decided that her old pal Joe needed to come visit her from Michigan to hang out because she was going through a rough patch in life and needed her friend. The rest reads like a typical Rom-Com movie. The connection was undeniable, and he just never left. Now, here we are talking to all of YOU 12 years later about our wedding. They say good things come to those who wait but geez Joe did you really have to make me wait that long babe???
