We are recommending hotels both in New York City (NYC) and in White Plains, NY for guests. These are suggestions but we also recommend AirBnB and booking.com for further ideas. Please make bookings early to ensure availability. We recommend you stay where you would prefer to spend the weekend after the wedding! In NYC, we have suggested hotels near Grand Central Terminal. You can take the Metro North Train from Grand Central to Tarrytown, which is a 10 minute drive from the venue Blue Hill at Stone Barns. We will provide bus transport from the Tarrytown train station to the wedding venue. We will then provide buses all the way back to Grand Central Station in Manhattan after the wedding. See below for detail. White Plains is a 20 minute drive from the venue Blue Hill at Stone Barns. We will provide round trip bus transport between White Plains and the wedding venue. See below for detail.

Flights

There are three main airports, two of which have international flights.

John F Kennedy International (JFK)

A 45 min drive to Central Manhattan or 1 hour to White Plains. Direct flights from Heathrow on British Airways, Virgin, etc.

Newark International Airport (EWR)

A 45 min drive to Central Manhattan or 1 hour to White Plains. Direct flights from Heathrow on American, Virgin, etc. Technically in New Jersey rather than New York but very close.

LaGuardia Airport (LGA)

About a 30 min drive to Central Manhattan or about a 45 min drive to White Plains, NY. Only domestic flights!

Buses will depart at 5:00pm from The Opus Westchester and Sonesta White Plains going to Blue Hill at Stone Barns. Buses will return at both 11:00pm and 12:30am from Blue Hill at Stone Barns to The Opus Westchester and Sonesta White Plains.

Staying in New York City?

Getting to the venue: Take the Metro-North train from Grand Central to Tarrytown on the Croton-Harmon line. In order to arrive on time we recommend you take the 4:19pm train from Grand Central that arrives at Tarrytown train station at 5:12pm. Shuttle transport will be waiting at the Tarrytown station to take you on a 10 minute drive to the venue Blue Hill at Stone Barns. Getting back to NYC: Buses will be provided to Grand Central in NYC at both 11:00pm and 12:30am from Blue Hill at Stone Barns.

NYC Subway (Tube)

If you're staying in New York City we recommend the NYC Metro / Subway to get around. This is the Tube for Londoners! You can use a contactless payment card or Apple Pay. Otherwise yellow taxis can be hailed at almost all locations and they take contactless payment / cash / credit cards / Apple Pay as well.
