Once upon a time, in a sweaty Catholic middle school gymnasium, a boy and a girl saw each other from across the room...and didn't speak to one another. If you ask Jonathan, he still remembers exactly what Katie was wearing that day - a white t-shirt and khaki pants (this was, shockingly, by choice and not a uniform). Time passed and the two eventually worked up the confidence to not only speak but become the best of friends. From middle school through high school, alongside The Bros and Beloit Babes, Jon and Katie racked up countless memories, some of which you may hear about at the wedding and many others of which are off-limits (looking at you, Jake!) The shenanigans continued throughout college and into adulthood, as Jon took on the world of real estate development all across the country and Katie navigated a new life in Boston. Jon and Katie rode the highest of highs together, with infinite belly laughs, Taco Bell runs, and Klub K hangouts. As everyone grew up, life happened. In addition to sharing incredible blessings, they experienced unimaginable tragedy. Jon and Katie finally realized if the person you want to share your greatest triumphs with is also the person you want to navigate your most excruciating losses with - they are probably your person. Jon and Katie stopped fighting the inevitable and gave love a shot. We can't wait to have you all join us to celebrate that middle school girl in the white t-shirt putting on her white dress and walking down the aisle to meet her best friend, forever.
