Care of your baby Christmas tree! The tree is a white spruce seedling, hardiness zone 3b to 7a. Water and plant within 3 to 5 days after event. For indoor growing over the winter months, or in hotter climates: remove all packaging, plant seedling in larger 4 inch pot with drainage hole, place in sunny location, keep soil moist but not soggy, mist needles twice weekly, transplant outside when ground is frost-free, then choose a partially sunny spot, dig hole, place top of roots even with soil surface, pack topsoil around roots and water thoroughly.
