CeCe Collins

Maid of Honor

CeCe is my cousin on my mother’s side of the family but has basically been my sister for my entire life. Even though she lives in Austin, we talk almost daily and I wouldn’t know what I would do without her amazing advice and ability to always be there for me. We would spend almost every fall and summer together growing up either having a blast at camp Mystic, getting into trouble at Lake Travis while my parents went to UT games or on a family trip to Rockport, Disney or Montana. CeCe spends her time as an advocate for Dysautonomia and loves photography and can put most Etsy accounts to shame with her crafting skills.

Camille Owens

Bridesmaid

Camille is an incredibly loyal friend who is kind and always thinks of others. We have been friends since high school and always know how to have a fun time together. We always go on adventures together and I can always rely on her to have my back! Camille recently graduated from UNTHSC in Fort Worth and moved back to Houston where she works as a PA in Cardiology. She loves EDM music and music festivals and knows the words to any hot new song. You can find Camille at the wedding by the DJ telling him what to play and singing all the words because her music taste is always on point.

Caitlin Owens

Bridesmaid

Caitlin is one of my best friends from high school and we became close goofing off when we were on the basketball team together at Memorial High School and AAU. Caitlin is literally my funniest friend and always has me dying laughing at the things she says under her breath. I know Caitlin always has my back and would fight for me just like I would fight for her. She currently works in Houston as a Physical Therapist and you can find her dancing on tables at the gay bars in Montrose.

Clare Garberg

Bridesmaid

Clare has been one of my best friends after meeting in a hallway during a Hurricane at Tulane University. She is one of the sweetest humans I know and always gives sound advice. Clare was the best roommate, partner-in-crime, and friend I could ask for. We always had a great time at concerts, formals, sorority events, spring break, mac n cheese runs, canes dates, Mardi Gras, Vegas, festivals and so many more memories. I love that we have still stayed so close since graduating and only go a few months until the next time we see each other. Clare crushes it at math and coding and currently works as a data consultant and is a Cheezit expert. Clare may not make it to the ceremony because she won’t want to leave the beach or will be scuba diving in the Bahamas.

Daniella Pugel

Bridesmaid

Dani and I have been friends since elementary school at MDE. She is currently working as a science teacher at Memorial Middle School and starting up her future fitness empire. I can always go to Dani for fitness advice and she has been a blessing with the entire wedding planning process. We have had amazing times together from sleepovers to Vegas and she always knows how to make me laugh. You can find Dani doing crunches on the beach at the wedding or leading an impromptu killer workout class with her fitness skillz!

Margaret Tran

Bridesmaid

Margaret has been my friend since freshman year at Memorial High School. We had many classes together in high school and had a lot of fun with our antics in Chem 2 together. She has been my savior of a friend on more than one occasion and I owe her my life. She literally drove us through Hurricane Harvey to safety to my dad’s house where we were stranded by flood waters for a few days. Margaret is a true friend who knows what to do in any situation. We always have fun doing Disney movie marathon sleep overs and she knows how to find the hottest new dessert and ice cream shops. She is currently in graduate school at Duke University. There’s never a dull moment with Margaret.

Ellen Sherwood

Bridesmaid

Ellen has been one of my best friends since we met in MO12 bathroom after I awkwardly introduced myself while she was washing her hands on the first day of college. Thanks for always making me eat healthy and try new places, even though, at first I thought it would kill me. Ellen recently moved to Boston from New Jersey and has a masters in health administration and works as a project manager at a market research company. She is the only other person who understands my need for sunscreen and love for dogs. Thank you for always (barely) putting up with my need for Theta kiting and you can find her at the wedding running away from me trying to kite her.

Lauren Hellinger

Bridesmaid

Lauren is one of my best friends and roommates from the infamous pink house we lived at Tulane University. I could always go to Lauren for honest advice, even if it was a little blunt sometimes! Lauren was always my go to study companion at Hillel and understood my need for New Orleans Sukho Thai. Lauren currently works at Ernst and Young in New York and is a bagel and brunch expert. You can find Lauren at the wedding on the dance floor partying like it’s her bat mitzvah!

Thomas Holt

Best Man

Thomas and I knew each other in high school but our friendship did not turn into what it is today until we were in college. Our friendship is based on a foundation of fishing, crawfish, and good beers. We’ve had many good times fly fishing in Montana and throughout Texas. Additionally, our friendship only got stronger when we lived in Dallas together after college while I was suffering through my investment banking job. He was always there for me through good and bad times (he’s helped me move 3 times - all of which were through Texas summers and sometimes without an elevator). Thomas is true friend.

Reed Watson

Groomsman

Reed is my much older brother who is a great friend, advice-giver and mentor. Despite our age gap, my brother and I have always had good times together and he would bring me along to go fly fishing with his friends and in many ways is one of the people who taught me many different things in life. You were there for me on our kayaking trip down the Llano river when we took the expert rapids by our own naive-ness and you gave me the giant cooler that threw my kayak off balance like any other brother would do and I fell down the waterfall and washed on shore. Thanks for looking for me when you thought I may have drowned.

James Ewing

Groomsman

James is my future brother-in-law and I couldn’t be more excited. In the time that I have known James he has done nothing but demonstrated kindness. The first time I met James was during trivia at a dive bar in Houston where I’m fairly sure we lost horribly. Since then we have won several trivias and am excited for what the future holds and beyond!

John Nutter

Groomsman

Nutter, Nutron, Nutman, The Nutman, DJ NUTTER, are all names that I lovingly call John. John and I’s friendship got stronger after going to one of the first summer fest festivals in Houston, going through fraternity rush together and ultimately pledging together. John and I were always out together in college whether it be getting ourselves into a fraternity party, going out to 6th street or visiting friends at other college campuses. We were known so well to be together that sometimes people asked where the “Johns” were. John has always been there for me and i look forward to the great times ahead for us. If you are wondering who he is - watch out he is probably talking to your date!

John Carter

Groomsman

John Carter (“Carter”) is one of the most genuine people I know. Our relationship really got going when we were in college together. We would often have “Sushi Tuesday’s” or Wednesdays at Sushi Niichi by campus where we would order a full sushi boat for the two of us. In addition to this, Carter and I were often out together on 6th street or also commonly staying in and getting a good meal together. Carter is someone who has always been extremely entrepreneurial. He started his own cold brew coffee company so be sure get it - Carters Cold Brew in Austin. Carter is someone who has always been there for me and I am lucky to have him as one of my best friends. If you are wondering who he is he is at the wedding, he’s probably at the bar ordering a Jameson shot.

Jack Harvey

Groomsman

Jack and I go way back to 4th grade at Saint Marks together. We played basketball together and were in a band where Jack was the drummer and I was the guitarist (barely), can’t say we made it very far in either one. The most memorable time we had together was the infamous road trip to Colorado after we graduated high school before going to college. Jack was there for me when I didn’t want to hold the fishing rods during the lightening storm and ran away from him protecting myself - hope he’s over that one by now. We’ve gone on multiple ski trips together, where he has been much better, but it has always been a blast. Jack and I can always be found at GoodCo restaurants whenever he is in town from Colorado. We’ve had many good times together and I look forward to future trips.

Ryan Steinhart

Groomsman

Steiny and I have known each over for over 10 years going back to high school. He has always been a good friend who has always been there for me. When we were in college we would often have random nights where we would either plan on going out together or just simply see each other out and make a night of it. He has always been someone who has been willing to go out and do something whenever asked whether it be during the week or weekend. Being one of my closer friends, he was among one of the first of my friends to meet Katie and go on a trip with us to New Orleans for the infamous Red Dress Run. Since college, we have always remained in touch and I look forward to continuing to do so. He is now practicing lawyer so be sure to look for him if you need any legal advice!

Joey Blough

Groomsman

Joey and I have known each other since College where we met while pledging our fraternity at UT. Since then, we have done a lot of traveling together (Europe and NYC) on multiple occasions. Joey has been someone who has always been willing to have a good time and go out and as a result we have had many late nights together. He is an avid electronic music fan and more than likely can be found either requesting a Avicci song at the DJ booth or ordering a vodka tonic at the bar!
